The Metheorology Statal Agency (Aemet) has activated some warnings in the Balearic archipelago due to the arrival of intense winds of North component since this Friday, November 21st.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!Ibiza and Formentera will be under risk warning due to streakds that could reach the 70 km/h between 8 a.m. and 11:50 p.m. The same warning level will be ketp in the north and northeast of Mallorca, where up to 70km/h streaks of wind are expected between 12 a.m. and 5:59 p.m.
The situation will be specially difficult in Menorca, where a severe risk warning due to coastal phenomenon has been decreeded. Waves coming from the north with a significant height of between 4 and 5 meters, and maximum waves that could reach the 8 to 9 meters, accompanied by the wind of the north of 50 to 65 km/h (strenght 7 to 8). These conditions could complicate sailing and mean a danger in coastal areas.
On the other hand, for today, Wednesday, November 19th, the Aemet forecasts an environment marked by cloudy moments and the possibility of weak and occasional rains up until the first hours of the afternoon. Temperatures will experience a slight decrease and winds will blow between weak and moderated, with a variable direction that could go towards the west as the journey advances. No severe phenomenon is expected for today.
Before the warnings expected for Friday, the Aemet recommends being careful, specially in areas exposed to wind and in coastal areas of the islands.
