Bad weather returns just before Easter break

The first thing we all check before the weekend arrives is the weather forecast.

That is why, at Passion for the Sea, in collaboration with Àngel Muñoz, creator of Meteo de les Illes, we offer you the weather forecast every Friday, so that you can schedule your plans in advance and enjoy the sea with all the necessary information.

The session of Saturday March 28th will be marked by cloudy intervals and a complicated maritime situation, specially in northeast areas of each island. In addition, waves that could go from 4 to 6 height meters  are expected, mainly in Mallorca and Menorca.

On the other hand, at the end of Saturday the situation is expected to not be as complicated in the southern areas of the islands, such as Ibiza and Formentera.

As for Sunday, March 29, an increase in cloud cover is expected, along with some rainfall, as well as a strengthening of the northwesterly wind, which will once again lead to a rather complicated situation, especially in northwestern Mallorca and Menorca. Waves could significantly exceed 6 to 7 metres in height.

For this reason, from Passion for the Sea we recommend being cautious when carrying out outdoor activities and always checking the meteorological forecast before setting sail.
