The Swan 56 “Azahar”, ship from Club de Vela Port d’Andratx leaded by Hervé Grünig alongside an experimented crew, achieved completing the demanding journey after 63 hours, 39 minutes and 42 seconds, crossing the arrival line on Saturday morning in front of Genoa, known as “the Super”.
After three editions with fresh wind, the calm of the Giraglia 2025 has defied sailors to measure themselves not only against the sea, but against time and patience.
“Azahar” stood out after achieving the 20th place in the ORC Division, competing against 56 ships, and consolidated its reputation as an usual protagonist in this historical regatta, symbol of reconciliation between nations after World War II.
