Andratx gets ready for its second edition of the Sailor Fair

Next October 18th and 19th, Andratx will host the second edition of the Sailor Fair, an unmissable event for sea lovers, professionals of the sector and companies of the nautical industry that will take place once again in an excellent environment, the Port of Andratx.

In its first edition, the Town Hall of Andratx organized this fair, with the objective of promoting local sailor culture and highlighting the economic and touristic potential of the area. On this occasion, it is more focused on the purchase and sale of second-hand boats, offering an ideal platform for those who want to acquire or sell their boat.

The boats will be exhibited in the facilities of the Club de Vela del Puerto de Andratx, where assistants will be able to get to know from up close the wide variety of models and options.

In addition to a great exposition of nautical companies, which will exhibit their products and services, the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx will open its doors to visitors, offering guided visits through their facilities and showing the local nautical management. 

The nautical tradition and diverse offer of cultural, sporting and commercial activities of the municipality will combine again to create a complete experience for all the family, with artisanal markets, children activities, expositions, sailor gastronomy and sporting activities.

The event, which will last from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on October 18th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 19th, will also have the celebration of the “Juntos contra el cáncer” concert, a solidary initiative boosted by restaurants and merchants of the port of Andratx, in benefit of the Spanish Association Against Cancer with motive of the World Day Against Breast Cancer.

Restaurants of the port will also participate in this event, offering assistants a sailor gastronomic experience, with a special menu where the first, the seafood and the traditional Mallorcan recipes will be the cuisine stars.
