Ana Musatova, sailor from Club de Vela Port d’Andratx, has claimed the gold medal in the women’s category at the Catalonia Europa Class Championship, held from May 23rd to 25th in Vilassar de Mar, on the Maresme coast.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!This prominent regional regatta, organized by Club Nàutic Vilassar de Mar in collaboration with the Catalan Sailing Federation, served as a prelude to the major international challenges of the season, including the Europa Class World Championship, which will take place at Lake Garda (Italy) this upcoming August.
Over three intense days marked by the thermal Garbí wind, Ana Musatova completed a total of nine races against a fleet of 24 national and international sailors.
In addition to being a sailor, Musatova also works as an Optimist coach at CVPA. She demonstrated strong technical and physical command of this classic and demanding boat, which was designed in Belgium in 1960 and served as an Olympic class between the Barcelona 1992 and Athens 2004 Games.
