All set for the 10th 'Swim around Illetas island' open water crossing

Next Saturday, August 23rd, at 9:00 AM, the Military Sports and Social Center (CDSCM) of Mallorca will host the tenth edition of its open water swim around Illetas Island. The course covers approximately 1,500 meters.

Participation is limited to CDSCM members and their guests, who will be allowed access to the facilities starting at 8:00 AM.

Regarding the requirements, minors under 18 wishing to participate must have parental authorization, and the minimum age for non-licensed swimmers is 16 years. Additionally, licensed swimmers must present the corresponding proof of membership.

The event will feature male and female categories, and participants may choose to swim with or without fins. The use of diving masks and snorkels is also permitted.

Registration, which costs €5, will be open until August 19th, the deadline for confirming participation. Payment will be made on the day of the event, starting 45 minutes before the race begins, at the control point located at the Illetas Base.

The event is supported by organizations such as Servimedic, SonMas Segur, NovaFAD Esport, Marbán Abogados, and the Calvià Town Hall, among others.
