AGENDA from November 7th to 9th: el Gabinete Lladó Trophy puts the insular title into play

To help you make the most of what the Mediterranean has to offer this week, here’s a roundup of the most notable events taking place.

This weekend close to a hundred Optimist class sailors will compete in waters of Sa Ràpita in the traditional Gabinete Lladó Trophy,a regatta that, in this edition, adquires the character of the Balearics Championship.

MALLORCA

• BALEARIC ISLANDS GABINETE LLADÓ TROPHY // (from November 6th to 9th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info)

Description: A total of eighty sailors from the islands will face the iconic Gabinete Lladó Trophy, that in this edition it's celebrated with character of Balearic Islands Championship.

• BOTTOM FISHING TROBADA // (November 8th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Portitxol (+ info)

Description: Fishmongers from the Portitxol have a new date to capture species, which will end with a fraternity lunch of 'arròs brut'.

• FIAT LLUCMAJOR TROPHY // (November 8th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: Fishmongers from Arenal add one more competition to their yearly calendar and celebrate the Serrans Trobada.

• BEACONED BOTTOM FISHING // (November 8th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Cala Gamba (+ info)

Description:  Fishmongers of the club gather at Cala Gamba for a new fishing session.

• PROA GROUP TROPHY // (from November 8th to 9th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: 60 ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and 420 classes sailors will face a new edition of this iconic regatta.

• BON VENT GP-SAILS TROPHY // (from November 8th to 9th) – Organized by: Real Club Náutico de Palma (+ info)

Description: Over 30 cruisers will compete in this regatta, the first of the new Inshore League of the club.

MENORCA

• J8 WINDSURF LEAGUE // (November 8th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Fornells (+ info)

Description: Sailors of the Bic Techno 293, Raceboard and Open IQFoil classes will reunite in Fornells to compete in the eighth session of this windsurf league.

• VIEJO CLUB 1 TROPHY // (November 9th) – Organized by: Club Marítimo de Mahón (+ info)

Description: 6 ORC cruisers will face each other in the first session of this traditional regatta.

IBIZA

• 1ST IBIZA'S COUNCIL COMPETITION // (November 8th) – Organized by: Club Náutico Santa Eulalia (+ info)

Description: Paddlers in the child, cadet, junior and youth categories gather in Ibizan waters to compete in the discipline “Aigües tranquil·les”.
