AGENDA from May 8th to 14th: the Repsol 150 Millas A2 kicks off

To help you make the most of what the Mediterranean has to offer this week, here’s a roundup of the most notable events taking place.

Today, Friday, May 8th, Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita opens a new edition of the Repsol 150 Millas A2 Trophy, one of the most emblematic regattas on the club’s calendar. The race will put crews to the test over a demanding 150-nautical-mile course between Sa Ràpita and Ciutadella, passing by Cabrera, in a challenge that combines strategy, endurance and tactical navigation.

MALLORCA

• 52 SUPER SERIES SAILING WEEK // (from May 4th to 9th) – Organized by: Puerto Portals (+ info)

Description: The TP52 class boats will compete in a new edition of this global high-performance sailing circuit.

• REPSOL 150 MILLAS A2 TROPHY // (from May 8th to 19¡0th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info)

Description: Two-person crews will compete aboard cruising yachts in a demanding round-trip course between Sa Ràpita and Ciutadella, passing by Cabrera. 

• WINTER LEAGUE // (May 9th) – Organized by:  Real Club Náutico de Palma (+ info)

Description: The club will bring this traditional league for the Snipe and OK Dinghy classes to a close with the final race. 

• MECANÁUTICA ASENSIO TROPHY // (May 9th) – Organized by:  Club Nàutic S’Arenal (+ info)

Description: The club’s fishmongers gather at  the Arenal to compete in a new edition of this fishing competition.

• JUNIOR AND SENIOR BALEARIC CUP // (May 9th) – Organized by:  Federación Balear de Piragüismo (+ info)

Description: Junior and senior paddlers gather in Alcúdia to compete in this insular race.

• VELA PER LA ELA // (May 9th) – Organized by:  Club Nàutic Porto Cristo (+ info)

Description: The club organizes a charity regatta in support of people affected by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ELA), accompanied by a ‘tardeo’ and finger-food for the participating crews..

• TROBADES // (May 9th) – Organized by:  Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: The ORC cruising boats gather at Arenal to participate in a new session of this traditional league.

• DOS ISLAS TROPHY // (from May 9th to 10th) – Organized by:  Marina Port d’Andratx (+ info)

Description: ORC cruising boats will compete in this new session of the Two Stations League.

• SAILING WEEK // (from May 9th to 17th) – Organized by:  Club Nàutic Cala Gamba (+ info)

Description: Optimist, ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and Lateen Sailing sailors will take part in the 17th edition of this regatta, which qualifies for the ILCA 6 Federation Cup and the ABCIO Cup of the FBV.

MENORCA

• ES CASTELL MARINER D'ANTANY // (May 8th) – Organized by:  Club Náutico Villa Carlos (+ info)

Description: Xavier Martín, Benjamí Carreres and Antoni Tudurí present a talk about Menorca’s maritime patrimony at the Castell Florit Mariner.

• ILLES BALEARS ILCA 6 // (from May 8th to 9th) – Organized by:  Club Nàutic Ciutadella (+ info)

Description: ILCA 6 will compete in this insular session in waters of Ciutadella.

• CAZAFOTO APNEA // (May 9th) – Organized by:  Club Nàutic Ciutadella (+ info)

Description: The club will exhibit the images submitted by participants in the underwater photography competition, organised in collaboration with the Balearic and Spanish Federations of Underwater Activities. 

• ABCIO CUP // (from May 9th to 10th) – Organized by:  Club Náutico Villa Carlos (+ info)

Description: Optimist and ILCA sailors in the under-11, under-12 and under-13 categories will compete in the Abcio Menorca Cup, an event organised for sailors who did not qualify for the Balearic Championship.

Description: The 2026 edition of the Artiem Snipe Circuit, for sailors in the Snipe class, comes to an end with the Summer Cup.

IBIZA

Description: Optimist and Optimist D classes will compete in Ibizan waters.
