AGENDA from June 13th to 22nd: the Mamá Optimist Trophy is the protagonist of the weekend

This weekend, the Club Nàutic Portitxol is hosting the 46th edition of its iconic regatta: the Mamá Optimist Trophy H.M. The Queen. A heartfelt event that pays tribute to all the mothers who, with dedication and effort, accompany their children every week as they take their first steps in the world of sailing.

MALLORCA

Description: The club hosts the second test of this regatta for the 6M class.

• XVIII NATIONAL CATCH AND RELEASE FISHING CUP // (June 12th to 14th) – Organized by: Reial Club Nàutic del Port de Pollença and the Federació Balear de Pesca i Càsting (+ info)

Description: Fishermen from all over Spain gather in the waters of Mallorca to compete in the 18th edition of the National Catch and Release Fishing Championship.

Description: The club celebrates another edition of its traditional contest of popular paellas.

• MAMÁ OPTIMIST TROPHY  // (June 14th to 15th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Portitxol (+ info)

Description: More than 200 young sailors will meet up at the Club Nàutic Portitxol to compete in the 46th edition of this iconic regatta.

• XXXI HIVERN TROPHY // (June 15th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Cala Gamba (+ info)

Description: Lateen sailing  ships will compete at the sixth test  of the 13th edition of the Hivern Trophy.

• NORTH SAILS SUMMER SERIES  // (June 18th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: The club begins its social league of regattas for cruiser ships and B/Ones.

• REGATARDE  // (June 19th) – Organized by: Real Club Náutico de Palma (+ info)

Description: The club celebrates the third test of its league for ORC cruisers, monotypes and the Snipe and OK Dinghy classes.

• DEEP SEA FISHING SPAIN’S CHAMPIONSHIP  // (June 19th to 22nd) – Organized by: Club de Pesca Marina Cala D’or (+ info)

Description: Pescadores de toda España se dan cita en aguas de Mallorca para competir en la 25ª del Campeonato nacional de pesca en alta mar.

• FORCED ARMIES TROPHY  // (June 21st) – Organized by: Club de Mar Mallorca (+ info)

Description: The Club de Mar-Mallorca hosts the 46th edition of the legendary regatta for ORC, RI and lateen sailing and monotypes, in collaboration with the Spanish Army and Balearic Sailing Federation.

Description: Family friendly and recreational journey that invites participants to enjoy a route from Club Nàutic s’Arenal to Club Marítimo de Sant Antoni de la Playa.

• NEW MAGALUF’S PROMENADE INAUGURATION  // (June 22nd) – Organized by: Ajuntament de Calvià (+ info)

Description: Calvià’s Council organizes a day full of free activities and offers for the whole family to open the first stage of the remodeling of the new Maritime promenade of Magaluf.

MENORCA

Description: Snipe class gathers in Menorcan waters to compete in the Balearic champs.

• MENORCA - SANT JOAN REGATTA // (June 19th to 20th) – Organized by: Club Marítimo de Mahón (+ info)

Description: 140 nautical miles route between Barcelona’s and Mahón’s ports. 

• PORT OF MAHÓN REGATTA  // (June 21st) – Organizedb by: Club Marítimo de Mahón (+ info)

Description: The port of Mahón hosts a regatta before the old Maritime Station to close the XXVI Menorca – Sant Joan Regatta Alfonso XIII Trophy.

IBIZA
