AGENDA from July 3rd to the 9th: regattas, concerts, fishing and activities to enjoy the summer

To help you make the most of what the Mediterranean has to offer this week, here’s a roundup of the most notable events taking place.

This week, the ports and nautical clubs of the Balearic Islands will offer a wide activities programme for all people, which will include from cruiser yachts' regattas and live concerts to fishing competitions and charity campaigns.

MALLORCA

• ES CALÓ WIND SERIES // (July 3rd) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: The second session of this sports circuit for the Open Foil, Windsurf Slalom and Wingfoil classes, which will gather sailors from different clubs of the islands, starts. 

• LITTLE SHARKS // (July 4th) – Organized by: Centre de Visitants de Cabrera (+ info)

Description: The centre organizes a new family workshop to get to know the little sharks that are in a vulnerable situation on our coasts.

• SUMMER MUSICAL // (July 4th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: Singer Uxue will perform live at the club's terrace, giving soundtrack to the best sunsets between the sea's breeze and a unique ambience in front of the Mediterranean. 

• ROCKFISHING // (July 4th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info)

Description: Members of the club will enjoy a new session of rockfishing, a sports and recreational category which consists in fishing from cliffs, breakwaters, rock areas or rocky seafloors.

• 40TH PUERTO PORTALS ANNIVERSARY// (July 4th) – Organized by: Puerto Portals (+ info)

Description: The entity celebrates four decades consolidating as one of the most prestigious nautical and leisure areas of the Mediterranean.

• JJPP BALEARIC ISLANDS CHAMPIONSHIP // (from July 4th to the 5th) – Organized by: Balearic Canoeing Federation (+ info)

Description: Waters of Alcúdia will turn into the scenario of this competition for paddlers in the children, cadet, Benjamin and initiation categories.

• MULLA’T PER L’ESCLERÒSI MÚLTIPLE // (July 5th) – Organized by: ABDEM (+ info)

Description: The association organizes this sensibilization and charity campaign about multiple sclerosis in different beaches and pools of the Balearic Islands with the aim of getting funds for keeping the neurorehabilitation services and support research of this neurologic chronic illness.

• SANT CRISTÒFOL TROPHY // (July 5th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: The club organizes a new edition of this fishing competition by pairs, a session benchmarked inside the festivities of Sant Cristòfol.

• INSULAR MALLORCA COMPETITION // (July 5th) – Organized by: Balearic Canoeing Federation (+ info)

Description: Paddlers of Mallorca gather in this event to take part in the fifth session of this competition.

• NORTH SAILS SUMMER SERIES // (July 8th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: The second session of this social regattas league for cruising yachts and B/Ones starts. 

• VIRGEN DEL CARMEN TROPHY // (from July 9th to the 10th) – Organized by: Club de Vela Port d’Andratx (+ info)

Description: The waters of Andratx will turn into the scenario of this regatta for the Europe, Optimist, Optimist D, 420, Cadet, ILCA 4 and Hansa 303 Solitaire classes.

MENORCA

• CNI AND CMM REGATTA // (from June 30th to July 3rd) – Organized by: Club Náutico Ibiza and Club Marítimo de Mahón (+ info)

Description: Both clubs celebrate a regatta for sailors of the Optimist class.

• VOLTA A S’ILLA D’ES PORROS J1 // (July 4th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Fornells (+ info)

Description: Sailors of the Raceboard class will carry out a trip from Fornells to go around the islet and return.
