AGENDA from July 10th to 16th: the summer festivities of the Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita begin

To help you make the most of what the Mediterranean has to offer this week, here’s a roundup of the most notable events taking place.

Today, Friday, July 10th, Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita kicks off its traditional summer festivities with the “Pa amb Oli a la Riba”, an open-air seaside dinner that marks the beginning of a week full of activities. The celebrations will continue over the coming days with events including children's fishing, a blood donation drive, the greased pole challenge, the members' dinner, as well as a children's party and the much-anticipated summer bingo.

MALLORCA

• THE SUNSET MARKET // (from July 15th to August 13th) – Organized by: Puerto Portals (+ info)

Description: The organisation is hosting a new edition of its summer market, which will be open every Wednesday and Thursday, featuring a diverse selection of stalls offering design products, fashion, accessories and home décor items.

• VIRGEN DEL CARMEN TROPHY // (from July 9th to the 10th) – Organized by: Club de Vela Port d’Andratx (+ info)

Description:  Europe, Optimist, 420, OptimistD, Cadete, ILCA 4 and Hansa 303 Solo sailors will gather in waters of Andratx to participate in this competition.

• ES CALÓ WIND SERIES // (July 10th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: The third session of this sports circuit for the Open Foil, Windsurf Slalom and Wingfoil classes, which will gather sailors from different clubs of the islands, starts. 

• PA AMB OLI A LA RIBA // (July 10th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info)

Description: The club kicks off its summer festivities with an open-air dinner by the sea, featuring a meal, drinks and dessert.

• KID'S FISHING // (July 11th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info)

Description: The little ones will be able to enjoy a boat trip and discover the world of fishing for free, as part of the club’s summer festivities.

• BLOOD DONATION // (July 11th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info)

Description: The festivities will also include a space dedicated to solidarity, with a blood donation campaign held at the port esplanade, organised by the Blood and Tissue Bank of the Balearic Islands.

• SOAPY POLE // (July 11th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info)

Description: This year, the club will introduce one of the most eagerly anticipated new additions to the festivities: the Palo Enjabonado (greased pole challenge), which will take place in front of the sailing school and will feature music and entertainment from a group of "xeremiers".

Description: Members, family and friends will come together for the Members’ Dinner, a major celebration catered by Binicomprat, featuring live performances by Cambio de Planes and Voltage, followed by music from DJ Kikot to bring the party to a close in the early hours of the morning.

Description: Musical artist Moisax will perform live at the club's terrace, giving soundtrack to the best sunsets between sea's breeze and a unique ambience in front of the Mediterranean.  

• OPEN WATERS SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP // (July 11th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info)

Description: The waters of Sa Ràpita will host a prestigious event organised by the Balearic Swimming Federation, bringing together federated swimmers from the islands for 500, 1,500 and 3,000-metre courses depending on their category.

Description: Members will take part in a deep-sea fishing day, a type of fishing that involves casting the tackle down to the seabed to catch species that live close to the bottom.

• KIDS' PARTY // (July 12th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info)

Description: The club will dedicate a day to its youngest members, who will be able to enjoy bouncy castles, water games, swimming pools and music in the club’s car park.

Description: Sala Ponent will host the Summer Bingo, an activity designed for families to enjoy together and test the participants’ luck.

• SANT CRISTÒFOL // (July 12th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: The club will celebrate the feast of Sant Cristòfol, the patron saint of s’Arenal, with a maritime procession, the blessing of boats and a decorated boat competition, with prizes for the most sustainable vessel, the best FIFA World Cup 2026-themed boat and the most original design. The day will conclude with a fireworks display.

Description: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita will host an aqua cycling session as part of the Consell’s “Viu en Comunitat” programme.

• NORTH SAILS SUMMER SERIES // (July 15th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: The third session of this social regattas league for cruising yachts and B/Ones starts.

Description: Fishmongers gather at the club to participate in a new squid fishing session.
