AGENDA from April 2nd to the 10th: Easter break fills the the ports of the islands with activities

To help you make the most of what the Mediterranean has to offer this week, here’s a roundup of the most notable events taking place.

This Easter break, the ports of the islands will turn into the scenery of numerous nautical activities. Offshore regattas, fishing tourneys, canoeing competitions and Optimist courses await you in the ports and nautical clubs of the Balearic Islands.

MALLORCA

• CANOEING BALEARIC GALA // (April 4th) – Organized by: Federació Balear de Piragüisme (+ info)

Description: The Casal de Peguera will host the twenty-third edition of the Canoeing Balearic Gala, in which the trophies in recognition to the achieved goals by the best athletes of the 2025 season will be given.

• 5TH SABATINES TROPHY // (April 4th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Portitxol (+ info)

Description: The cruising boats gather at the Portitxol to compete in the second session of their traditional league.

• FLAT FISH (DELAYED) // (April 4th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info)

Description: The club will celebrate a new session in which fishmongers will put dragging techniques and rigging with fishhooks moved slowly by the seafloor  into use to catch flat species.

• 1ST JUNIOR AND SENIOR BALEARIC CUP // (April 4th) – Organized by: Federació Balear de Piragüisme (+ info)

Description: Paddlers in junior and senior categories will gather in Alcudia to compete in the first session of this competition.

• CIRCUIT A2 // (April 4th) – Organized by: Reial Club Nàutic del Port de Pollença (+ info)

Description: Cruising boats and Flying Fifteen will compete at the second session of this league.

• PORTOCOLOM CRUISERS LEAGUE // (April 5th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Portocolom (+ info)

Description: The fourth session of this competition for cruising boats kicks off.

• 5TH BALEARIC CLINIC OPTIMIST // (from April 7th to 10th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info)

Description: The fifth edition of this concentration of sports technification will gather young light sailing sailors in the U13 category.

• MALLORCA A3 ROUNDABOUT // (from April 10th to 12th) – Organized by: Real Club Náutico de Palma (+ info)

Description: More than 20 cruising boats will compete in this prestigious offshore regatta, which consists in circumnavigating the island of Mallorca.

MENORCA

• WINDSURF J4 LEAGUE // (April 4th) – Organized by: Club Nàutic de Fornells (+ info)

Description: Bic Techno 293, Raceboard and Open IQFoil sailors will compete in a new session of the club’s league.

IBIZA

• LA RUTA DE LA SAL // (from April 2nd to the 4th) – Organized by: Es Nàutic (+ info)

Description: Prestigious offshore regatta of between 100 and 400 miles, celebrated in the Easter break and consolidated as one of the most popular ones of the Mediterranean, with two main departures from Barcelona (Port Ginesta) and Dénia, both with arrival at Sant Antoni de Portmany.

• 16TH FISHING FROM ROCKS SPAIN’S CHAMPIONSHIP // (from April 10th to 12th) – Organiza: Federación Balear de Pesca (+ info)

Description: Santa Eulària des Riu will turn into the scenery of this competition of sports fishing, a modality that is practiced from the coast, usually in rock areas, cliffs or breakwaters.
