The spectacular competition, of 140 nautical miles, will take place in the ports of Barcelona and Mahón on June 19th and 20th.
The installation counts with a space for 95 vessels that can exceed 20 metres in lenght overall.
IbizaPreservation, Mallorca Preservation and Menorca Preservation, are together leading a new Project focusd on the identification and análisis of the waste foundin the Balearic Islands seabed. The study takes part of a common marine conservation initiative “Tejiendo Futuro, Alianza para la Preservación de Baleares”, and relies on the scientific evidence provided by the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO).
This journey allowed to prove the evacuation, explosive deactivation and response to threats ‘NRBQ’ protocols in a real port environment.
Free activities for the whole family from 9 a.m. on the Magaluf seafront promenade, now renamed Paseo Gabriel Escarrer Julià. On Sunday, June 22nd, the first phase of the renovation will be officially opened to the public, residents, and visitors. The second phase of the project will complete the promenade, with construction works expected to finish by next winter.

The Swan 56 "Azahar", cruiser boat of Club de Vela Port d’Andratx, is getting ready to face one of the most prestigious nautical challenges of the Mediterranean: the offshore regatta Loro Piana Giraglia. With an expected departure for tomorrow, Wednesday June 11th, from Saint-Tropez, this final phase will challenge around 140 registered yachts in a journey of 241 nautical miles which connects the iconic Giraglia islet with the city of Génova.
